I called OINP today and was told my application is in assessment phase. However, I haven't received any ADRs ! :( Does anyone have an idea how long it will take from here ?

You shd have asked them. May be they could have provided some potential date. Frankly, nobody here can predict anything about OINP.

Received the hard copy of Nomination Letter through mail.

It only took them 8 days. That's good. Hope I get mine before next Friday

I am not sure what is wrong ! ??? my only guess is that they are prioritizing people based on their NOC code. It is strange that people after me are getting nominated ! :o

Can you tell us how long it took for you to receive the hard copy since getting nominated?

I am confident about my application too, but delay from OINP is shaking my confidence.

Hello there,

It appears that, your inbox is full so I'm replying here. Please don't mind as I don't see any confidential information in the following reply.

Mine is 3131,Industrial Pharmacist. I don't think there is an inherent bias based on NOC. At least, there is no statistically significant data as such to demonstrate the same. However, it may have been the case that quite a lot of applicants are from Computer science /IT or other affiliated professions, so your empirical observation might have made you to arrive at such a conclusion. The most likely case would be variability in assessment time or decision time for each application as the amount of information presented would apparently vary. Case specific officers also, add to the amount of time taken to move the application to each phase. After all that said, I can tell that you are not too far from nomination, just hang in there and pray. Cheers!!

Guys I am CEC inland with expiring work permit in feb 2017, and I am Network Specialist(IT Networking), still I havent received nomination.
So it doesnt depend on NOC. Its just how lucky you are to be picked up by a officer to work on your file. 8) 8)

I am a CEC inland.

Also, my post-grad work permit expires on April 11, 2016. Should I apply for the police certificate right away since I heard it takes time to process or should I just wait to receive the invitation first ? I am worried since I need to quickly apply for bridge work permit for which I believe the nomination certificate is not enough. Any tip to apply for bridge work permit will be appreciated since my work permit expires soon. Thanks
