Guys, has anyone got the old demand draft back from OINP? They asked for the address to send it back but no word from them after that. Does anyone know how long they're taking to send the draft back in cases where it's expired? Thanks!

They are approximately taking 3 weeks for returning the old DD.

I have sent my DD on Aug 15 and received on Aug16. After that, I did not get any update on my new DD? I have sent several emails and faxes but no response. I tried to call them but No answer. Till now, My all efforts are goes in vain. Now, Can I tell my friend to get inquiry on my new DD status on behalf of me in person at OINP office?

Is it appropriate? Is there any problem if I share my Application num & Case num with him?

OINP don't work from Nov end to January end.

So they kind of created a backlog of applications during these months. Which created a further delay for Dec 15 to March 16 applicants.

Looking into this , I can sense in year 2017 as why they will only open the nomination in January 17 and will close soon after their quota gets exhausted.

Something similar to what they did in May 2016.

My application was received February 11 th and I received AOR on the 15th of August. Wish me luck

Like I have ALWAYS been saying, they have been working in November and December despite the OINP has mentioned that they don't work in November and December. No Government office will have 2 month holiday like that. People were receiving many AORs and a few nominations in December 2015 and January 2016. Coffee machines at the office don't send AORs and nominations. They might have put up such a notification because many officers might be on vacation during that time and the processing speeds might be extremely slow in December and January. Its not like they leave on November 30th and come back on February 1st to office.

Hahaha....coffee vending machines don't send out AORs and nominations.....this is hilarious.
I agree that OINP cannot mention directly that most of their workforce is on vacation during those days between Dec-Jan, hence they mention it in an appropriate manner that they do not work during that period to rest aside any disputes and discrepancies that might otherwise arise.
