Or does what category you apply for even matter...?

They process CEC a lot faster

hi guys, a lot of you mention that CEC applications are way faster...but i dont see that to be the case? What is the basis for saying so? I've not seen any CEC applicant since Dec or maybe Nov that has been processed way faster than FSW.

Same! I have read through the forums and some people's timeline (FSW applicants) seems to be alot faster! Like receiving AOR within a month (submitted application in Dec).
I honestly don't know if CEC is faster =/

I don't think any February applicants will get AOR until May!
November applicants are getting AORs now; there are some september/october applicants waiting for AOR.
It's a loooooooooooooooong wait!!

One more thing that is worring me is that I sent application on 1st feb and did not received AOR.
Is there any chances that my application will be returned insted of sending AOR, OINP may send back my application after 2 months saying that some of documents are missing.

OINP will check your application for completeness sometime around May (yes, they have a huge backlog to clear!) and if your documents are complete, they will send AOR.
This is only document completeness acknowledegment. After this they will start reviewing your documents for nomination which may take from 6 to 13 weeks, or more if they request for additional documents..

Hi guys,

I submitted my OINP application on Feb 18th. I personally delivered it. I haven't received any acknowledgement yet.

My PGWP expires on June 26, 2016. Can I apply for BOWP? Am I eligible? I am just worried that because of OINP backlog, I won't receive an acknowledgement till May-June. I don't want to get too close to my PGWP expiry and get worried.

Anyone with any information please help..!
