Issue AOR's to all applicants until (9th May) who fulfilled the criteria.
Issue NOM's to applicants ..who's WP etc are expiring.
Start issuing NOM's from Oct 2015 till 9th May based on their communique that OINP will process all applications received.

Do you think issuing 5400 NOM's is a tough task?? after the applications are checked, assessed, decision made (approved)

According to the quota's, OINP has NOM's from 2015, 2016, figuring 10800 - 870 issued in 2015 according to the 2015 annual report.

Agree with you regarding the clearance of Feb applicants before the end of August.
But about 2015 /2016 quota i guess we all need some refreance or source if possiabl..

No idea whether the unused quota will be utilized. No source to support. We only know according to 2015 annual report of 870 MOMS issued.
Do you think 5400 for all streams for 2016 NOM's will not be sufficient. The current running series is 5XXX for AOR file numbers. Am I right.

If the AOR nos increase the 2017 quota can be used in NOv. Am I right.

Let's remain positive, hopeful and optimistic. In absence of any info, figures, guidance of quota we can't speculate.

When OINP is issuing AOR's, they will issue NOM's. The big question is WHEN!!! which is a concern of all applicants as

the IELTS will expire, AGE will reduce points..etc.. :'( :'( :'(

Today, yes, Saturday, August 13, I received my AOR letter. It's strange that they work on Saturday and I hope that this is a good sign that they're trying to speed up the process.
P.S. I'm a FSW outland.

Can anyone tell me which month applicants are getting nominations from OINP? or just they have stopped issuing nominations.

my worries are that 5400 number is just budget projection gimmick, whilst the "real" undisclosed target is just that 800 something! the rest just goes down the drain by sitting there collecting dust.

I really hope I'm wrong, but how can a government allow such underachievement? 800 from 5400??? for real??

Surprisingly I got my AOR on Saturday, August 13 too. In the email subject it is MMW in the brackets.

Please help update and best of luck to the rest of us waiting for AORs.

By the way, I have two questions regarding the timelines:

1.

"Your application was reviewed to confirm that it is complete and has been forwarded for assessment. OINP will notify you when your application moves to the assessment phase and again when your application moves to the decision phase. You will also be contacted directly should we require any additional information to assess your application.

Please be advised that the program is currently in receipt of a large volume of applications and processing times are longer than usual. We assure you that we are working diligently to process applications as expediently as possible.

We kindly request that you wait until after you receive notification that your application has moved to the assessment phase before contacting the OINP to inquire about the status of your application. This will allow our staff time to focus on processing applications to the program."

How long will it take to receive the notification about the application moved to assessment phase?

2. Since I get the AOR now, is it about time to prepare for the rest of the documents such as Police Check?

Congratulations samzgfang and kronstadter! It feels good that they are working on Saturday.

Q1. As of now, there are very less nominations handed out other than expiring work permit cases. And this two phase assessment is being mentioned in AoRs reported recently, so once they start with nominations, we will be in a better position to speculate about the timelines.

Q2. Since those post ITA docs (such as medicals and PCC) have time bound validity, it is better to wait and observe how things move

They normally dont work on Saturdays. Some countries are ahead of timings Like India when Friday in Canada is Saturday in India. Computer date changes , so you think it is recd on Saturday. check Canada timing when you recd it , because they wont keep working to send one or two AOR . IF they have done it its a good change.

There is a guy on the whats app group from Canada who got it on Saturday too. It seems they were working yesterday for some reason..

Check timings of Canada and see. All Indians receive one date late because it is 11 hours difference. Also in U.K there is 6-7 hours Diff. IF they work on Saturday there must be some update on sunday mornings.

dude.. of course I checked that.. He got it at 9.45 am Toronto time.. He is in Vancouver (6.45 his time)
