Hello,

I received my expired Demand Draft today (October 19) along with the payment receipt.

I had received the payment receipt on October 6, 2016.


New Draft Received - August 26, 2016
AOR - August 16, 2016
Application Received - February 16, 2016

It will be good, if this is indeed the case. Can you pls let me know as to how to handle the situation wherein OINP application is under process (AOR recd) and EE profile is near expiry? Thanks,

1. Take all screen shots of the current EE profile.
2. After the expiry create a new EE profile

Just create new profile using the same GCKey.
The same option you clicked when you created your EE profile for the first time.

Inform OINP with all the details of the new profile and the details of the old profile.

Finally got my old dd and receipt of new dd.
Timeline is as follows:

Date of Application- 22 Feb 2016
AOR-16 August
New dd received by oinp-25th August
Receipt of new dd- 7th Oct
Old dd was received on-19th Oct

I called OINP today at 416-327-0374 and 1 and 0 to speak to an operator. After about a 30-45 sec. pause I am asked to enter a 10 digit extension or the person I am trying to reach. Has anyone called OINP lately? If so, please help me with extension.

I also recd my old DD and receipt of new DD a couple of days back...

Apparently the trick is to keep calling then until you get an actual operator instead of a machine asking for the 10 digit extension.... But many have said that they've tried countless times and haven't been successful. Good luck with that.

I tried them again today.... the same thing happened - asks for 10 digit extension. Hoping to have some action on my file before my work permit expires.

Well for you sake I hope you get your NoM ASAP, but I'm afraid to say that quite a few of CEC applicants in the forum only got their NOM after their WP expired.

My suggestion is to plan for the worse and hope for the best... Look into what you can do to extend you WP, if you've exhausted all options get familiar with implied status and see if you can live there as a visitor for a while, if not return to your home country if possible. Remember to keep you PoF health and not dip below if you need to stay there.

If you get really desperate to speak to them then head over to their office in Toronto.

Because i did't hear anything from them after my AoR which was on 12th august and I had no issue with my DD , as i am hearing that there are so many people with DD expired problem... Should i take these in a positive way or i should be worried that they didn't touch my app yet..??

Doesn't AOR mean that your DD was cashed and no reason to send another?
