OINP Application sent in November 2015

I think they are waiting for.

1. New quota to be announced.
2. To avoid cutoff falling drastically to 400 to 450. Because once they start providing nomination then I am sure the cutoff will not fall in that range atleast this year.

I think this is a gameplan to avoid cutoffs to fall drastically.

So I just spoke to an Operator through the general helpline ( yeah a miracle right 8) )

She re-confirmed that my application is at the second stage of processing pending with an Investigator Analyst (wonder if anyone else has been told this status). She mentioned that next it would go to a Senior officer for final decision. She wasn't able to give any timelines on how long it would take or since how long has the application been in the current status.
Not sure what to make of this :

Hey guys - need to be clear on something... my EE profile expires mid Sept as I opened it on mid of Sept 2015. In the unlikely event that Nov app have not been nominated by Sept 2016 is it that I need to reopen a new profile and then ask OINP to link my current profile to the new profile so that nomination can continue to take it's part? Note - My application is with a Senior Officer for a decision.

Hi. My profiel expired in June. You need to withdraw current profile and create new one. Then send to Oinp: email with new ee profile and new job bank code, attach letter of cic confirming new profile no plus letter explaining why you created new profile plus state any changes between the two.

I shall have crossed 120 days post AOR on July 11. Phew - Long journey - 8 months since application submission!!!

Yeah..8 months. Long time. Even the AOR mail that got us pretty excited seems like a long time ago..The only positive or upside I see in all of this wait is the interest I am earning on my fixed deposit.

Actually, the majority of the October applicants have received nomination- a few exceptions do exist. For instance, CanadaWeCome hasn't received her nomination yet. Rafzy is a September applicant and he is still waiting. The majority of November applicants haven't received nomination though.

If Nov is pending when would dec and Jan applicants receive their nomination... Looks to me CIC instruction of holding the nomination...God knows what they are upto now... Just worried as for dec and Jan app there would be issues regarding expiry of documents like ielts... etc

Just a random thought - Waiting till the end of the year (approx. October) would enable the IRCC to evaluate the number of open places for immigrants for 2016 and based on the number they would change the draw again to a lower score or ask provinces to send out niminations. Again I am just throwing in my two cents here!

saikris12 mine and ur timelines are similar and I too havnt got any additional docs request, phone call or email

was thinking of sending an email to OINP seeking update on application. I understand it is not of much use, but still want to do my part. Could you post the email ID which has the best possible chance of response.
