How much time it will take for people to receive AOR who have submitted their application on FEb end?

I think a bit of research on the forum will give you the answer. Simply posting the same question in whatever thread you find will create redundant posts which are unnecessary. This will make searching for old topics difficult. Usually FSW candidates receive AOR within 90 days of submitting the application. But this is not the standard time frame. There are people who had to wait more than 4 to 5 months. So there is no concrete answer to your question.Garry213189 said:How much time it will take for people to receive AOR who have submitted their application on FEb end?

Yes, AFAIK, they have been processing CEC applicants with soon-to-expire work permits from the beginning. This backlog could be because of the ridiculously huge number of PTs they issued towards the end of 2015 and in Jan 2016. I don't know what they were thinking - I guess improper planning and wrong estimates could have caused them to send these many PTs. Now, they are struggling to process applications.shashidhar_sm said:I think they are working on applications from folks already in Canada AND on a close-to-expiring work permit - these people need it far sooner than any of us.
But again. Shouldn't this have been a priority already? Yup.
I am actually tired of waiting. Post AOR, I haven't been asked for any docs and there hasn't been any communication whatsoever.

However, I am not sure what OINP is doing to address this. Today can be just another day in office for them but they should keep in mind that there are thousands and thousands of applicants waiting and moving back-and-forth on very important life decisions. I don't know when they will finish off applications sent in November 2015. Unless they do something and speed things up, the processing times for applications sent in December and months after that would be very, very long (probably a year or even more from submission --> Nomination).
Lets just hope that doesn't happen and OINP addresses this efficiently.
I wish all applicants good luck and a speedy nomination!
Could you kindly share the timeline of the November applicant? Which category - FSW/CEC?Oloriire said:Hi guys ! Let's not loose hope yet. Let's remain optimistic that OINP will speed things up. A number of people who get nominations never return to the forum to update other members of their nomination. I have a November applicant who has received nomination already and has kept quiet all this while. Please let's remain optimistic and hopeful. I am a December application and I have received AOR on 7th April. No update afterwards.
I am guessing CEC Inland. Since those guys might be closer to WP expiry (you already know this)rajkamalmohanram said:Could you kindly share the timeline of the November applicant? Which category - FSW/CEC?
Yes. Half of 2016 is over and still they haven't announced the quota!PiyushAgrawal06121985 said:I am guessing CEC Inland. Since those guys might be closer to WP expiry (you already know this)
Has anyone heard on any new quota being declared for 2016 since that might be a key factor in nominations. Last year they did start their program in June.
They gonna do it in November as they've told already. The quota for 2017 will be annouced.rajkamalmohanram said:Yes. Half of 2016 is over and still they haven't announced the quota!
On one of the other threads more and more people start showing up that have send in their app in sept, even aug, with Aor in nov/dec and they are still waiting (too) so I dont know whats going on but guys, prepare to wait..rajkamalmohanram said:Yes, AFAIK, they have been processing CEC applicants with soon-to-expire work permits from the beginning.
