they only issued which were processed before. they did mention they are not going to process any application during this time.

No.

They received applications in Dec and Jan. They processed applications submitted in Dec and Jan (One Dec 8 applicant got AOR on 29th Jan - check spreadsheet for skanawat).

People received AORs in Dec and Jan. Some people also got nominated in Dec and Jan which clearly means they were processing applications in those months.

Yes, they said that they will not process applications in the months of December and Jan but they did process them.

If you get 400+, you stand a chance to get PT NOI from Ontario and for other PNPs check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp.

IELTS of the primary applicant plays a very important role in improving CRS score, therefore I would suggest that the primary applicant should target CLB 9 (LRWS - 8777). You can try these values in the calculators below and see for yourself how much of a difference IELTS makes to your CRS score.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

The quick ways to improve scores are:
1. ECA for both primary applicant and spouse
2. Improve IELTS score for primary applicant and spouse

Other options to get ITA are:
1. PNP (check the link I shared above)
2. LMIA based job offer. With regard to the question of getting a job offer, as far as I know and heard is that companies generally do not entertain interviews for overseas candidates as they are not sure about when you would be landing in Canada. So the closest you can get to get an interview call is once you have landed in Canada. You can be only sure of getting a job offer only if your skills and experience is niche and Canadian employers are not able to meet their requirement locally.

Stanlee I appreciate the way you explained this. you are the best person to give right advise precisely and very respectfully. Other seniors of the forum would have insulted the person with 308 points. I have seen all seniors insulting others who are below 450. Stanlee keep it up helping others. The only senior without any Ego and superiority complex is YOU.

well, I have sent my lawyer an email and will be waiting for a feedback, hoping that all will go well.
Now one question, is it more likely for those who applied for the Ontario Nominee Program to be nominated ? my NOC is 2141 with a bachelor degree , I got the highest Ielts score and my total points are 438 and I am below the age of 30! is it possible ? or the chances are low ?

I am asking because so many posts on the forum and I got really confused because so many said they prefer those with masters and above 30 but below 40

Refusal from OINP is a very rare phenomenon. Once you get your AOR, it is extremely likely that you'll get your nomination as long as your documentation is proper.

The last few members must be really tired of the wait. Especially when the people prior to them have got AOR 5 days before.

I guess we don`t have any other option rather than wait.

Looks like OINP is back to work after the Easter holidays! Got my AOR just a while back. Thrilled about it ;D Will have to ask WES for the original ECA report to be sent to OINP though. Hope the AORs for all the November folks get received soon and we get to see some nominations traffic.

Dont seem to have write permission for the mastersheet. Whoever does have the access, please update my entry. Thanks in advance!
