Anyone got the new additional Canadian education points added?
I have a Candaian diploma, and I just completed the updates and submitted.
But my score was still the same, no 15 points were added..
Also, my Canadian work experience changed from 1 year to 2 years in August. I was supposed to get additional 13 points plus 25 points for having 2 credentials and more than 1 year Canadian work experience...

According to M.RSHDs last few posts he is FSW Outland... I assume it's better not to pay much attention to the category part in the list as the list has not been looked after consistently by one person. Few people have contributed to it hence the mistakes / inconsistencies.... we'll be better off overlooking those... I think..

Thank you for your hint dark_matter.

I haven't seen any of the FEB 2016 application ONIP program forum is yet to recieve any FSW nomination, that is the reason I was really surprised to see a March Applicant recieve a Nomination.

I am myself is very happy to know if that is true. Along with all of the March applicants.

That is True pkshaji . I am FSW Outland and I got nomination on 02/12/2016 and now my CRS point is 1049 . I'm sure that other march applicant get their nominations by the end of this week .

I hear you, but it's best to think M.RSHD as an odd one out in the sense that he got his NoM before his time, think of it as a lucky break or a fluke... If you think that they will still have to get through Jan (currently at 30%) and Feb (around 15%) before they really get started on March then you can expect your NoM in a few week's time (possibly early Jan)... That way if it arrives early then good for you! If not then you're not overly stressed waiting around for it. ;-)

It has been 2 weeks since I submitted my additional doc. but no any updates. Should I worry?

No, you should not worry! For some unknown reason we (MARCH) got ADRs before the Feb and Jan people, but if OINP are true to their word we will be processed AFTER them, so just try to relax and have patience as no one knows when they will effectively start processing MARCH.

Hi G126,

Don't you think they work based on AOR date, and not the date you submitted the application, because an AOR indicates when CIC or OINP has received the application and has issued a case file number for the application submitted.

So the countdown of the nomination process starts from the day you received the AOR, and not from the day you submitted the application.

Don't you think so?

Hey there, I got extra points for my Canadian education. I was at 437 now i'm 451.

Also I got request for additional documents from OINP which I successfully submitted. Do they ask for more additional documents after they have asked for work experience and funds? Let me know whats next?

I hope the nominations begin soon for all of us :)

Just to add to that, I think also people that had to resubmit bank drafts will probably be process later regardless of when OINP received their application. Just because OINP had to put them on hold until they got the new draft. What do you guys think?

I think the applications are being processed together. Those applications which are comparatively more complicated maybe dependents, more documents required etc might take some more time to get ADR. I really hope they finish with all applicants by year end.

This has been discussed in the forums, lots of theories... My personal theory: it's basically by the date on the receipt that they cashed your DD... So AOR IF you didn't have to resubmit DD, if you did then back of the line... But that's my personal theory, feel free to disagree ;)

And this is the KEY message... some officers work slower that others but most importantly some files are more complicated that others... Some will show very weak ties that will need to be explored further... Some will show questionable work experience... Some officers are more thorough than others, so one and so forth... Mix a file that has questionable info together with an officer that is very thorough and takes his time. Well, now imagine YOUR file is underneath a few other files in that officer's pile!

We still have people from November (and October), who probably got AORs 12 months ago, that are still waiting for a NoM...

Bottom line is that no one can predict when your NoM will come... So all we can do is hope for the best, be efficient when replying to ADRs and start preparing for the next phase if at all possible...

Been a while since my last update in this manner so quite a bit of change!

We had one PFL turn into nomination in Nov, so hurray to that! A few more nominations in Dec, also good! [EDIT] Just had one more in Dec - sameermicheal - congrats and I've updated the table above to reflect this.

Jan has ben the star so far with nearly 20 nominations since my last update!

Feb and Mar have had a few nominations (7 each) all of which have been CEC, with the exception of M.RSHD who is FSW-O, so sbrs2010 if you can please correct this on your next update, this has renewed hope for FSW folk in March that had ADR’s 25 days ago and nothing since then…

We’ve seen fast nominations in Jan, for example Onemore10 replied to his ADR on the 29th and was nominated on the 2nd… Yes only 3 days!

We’re seeing a lot of ADRs in Feb now so perhaps we’ll see a few fast nominations as well and get Feb’s FSW folk moving!

Good luck and speedy nominations to all!
