people who are worried about emails not being received or acknowledged, send a fax at the same time... its highly unlikely they wont receive atleast one of the 2 :)

Although not a bad idea on the ADR email they specifically say to use either email or mail... Fax is not mentioned. So I wouldn't risk it.

No luck so far, my friend... I'll keep trying tomorrow, but let's just hope for the best.

Well I got so worried about this that I went to the nearest FedEx and courier my ADR package over... The problem is customs is on strike in this SHITY country that we find ourselves in so it may be delayed getting there... What kind of country has OUTWARDS customs? And even worse, requires documents to be submitted to customs when LEAVING the country!!! :-\

If you're still worried send them an email or fax saying that since you've not received an ACK you'll send them the package via courrier and ask for a short 3/4 day extension on your deadline.

Sent my Add doc via email. Zipped all the docs using Win zip and sent.

Received ADR mail - 09 Nov (from officer AV)
Add doc sent - 21 Nov
Add Req Ack mail received - 22 Nov

Once again the wait continues.............

Good stuff, you're lucky and got an ack for your documents! Nice one!

I went to speak with the OINP officer yesterday (coz my office is 10 mins away from OINP office). The officer did confirm that the emails recd in "expressentry email" are hardly checked. So its better to forward your emails with documents/ queries etc to "ontarionominee email" which they regularly check.

Hmmm.. now you've worried me! I'm quite certain that many people never receive an ACK for ADR, but I've not seen people complain about their email never arriving... Perhaps he got a message box full error which went into SPAM...

Anyway, I guess the only option you have is to keep phoning them up until you get through. It's too late to courrier the package over as you need at least 3 days from Brazil.

Did you ask them whether they will process all applications this year or whts their plan?

Just in case I'm going to send the documents to these emails: expressentry@ontario.ca, expressentry2@ontario.ca, ontarionominee@ontario.ca, candidatontarien@ontario.ca
and by regular mail, just to have peace of mind ???

Considering OINP's lack of responsiveness, I think we have a legitimate cause to spam entire Canadian population with our emails, lets just add entire Canada's mail ids in the To list. :P Just kidding.

I ended up resending my email to all of the recipients mentioned here, with the following message at the top:

As I heard the OINP office was experiencing difficulties with your e-mail service, I am resending this as a precaution. My sincere apologies if you receive multiple copies of this message.

This had better work, because I don't have the time or the money to courier the docs today...

Good idea, will also do the same! If the idiots promptly replied to received documents they'd avoid this sort of thing... But the last thing I want is a PFL claiming they never received my documents.

After all morning calling OINP they finally answered. They told me that they might not necessarily acknowledge that they have received the documents send by email. they also confirmed that they received my documents but my case is still with the investigator. I guess they haven't review them yet. :)

I am confused. They explicitly ask you to reply to email(which comes from expressentry@ontario.ca) but say they don't check that email!!!!!!

My pdf is too large, about 20MB. Can I personally deliver my additional documents package to their office??

They check all emails, don't believe in everything written on forums. However, what they really dont do, they don't acknowledge each received additional docs request email, which is a bad thing. It is something which would take them 1 min per email to respond back, in addition to saved time and resources, that they now spend on responding to calls and emails from applicants regarding to non received acknowledgement emails.
