We had to post our applications to OINP. All paper.
But when it comes to additional document requests and also change of information, we can do both... Most choose to send their documents through email..

Hi,

I have got invitation from Ontario on February 8Th and documents were received on March 16th. I got AOR on 23rd August. Since then I have not got any response. I was unable to post here due to some login issue but I was actively reading the posts on this forum. kindly guide me in the further process. And subsequently add me in the List. :) ;)

Hi Guys,

So, 250 Days completed since application submission and 81 Days post AOR :o
Still counting and just got the same template answer that my application is "currently being assessed by a processing officer" :(

Not sure what does this status means and when they will start nominating our applications?? :'(

They haven't started with Jan applications yet. We are last in their list :( Was hoping for nomination this year but doesn't look like its going to happen

Yes, appears to be.
With the current trend, we might start seeing some light from late Jan 2017.
This will only be possible if OINP officers doesn't go on Christmas and New Year vacation :(
Let's Hope for the Best !!

Technically they are still in the time line (less than 90 days after AOR). That was most likely reason why those AOR were sent out so late. Now give it additional 15% buffer and you will be hopefully served around end of the year.

It is just my opinion, but I think so from what I see is happening:
1. Ontario does preferential queue depending if you are inland or outland and CEC or FSW (at least so far we know). Yes it is their right to do, but then they should not have stated something else. (then again they never claimed this properly in their website).
2. What was officially claimed (also a bit older date) is the commitment of 90 days (from getting AOR apparently).
3. What was happening is that Ontario was sending out AOR way way too late, even if they had capacities to do that a bit faster (currently they do send out AOR to the French stream within 3 to 4 weeks after recieving all documents and they are still occupied with that big batch of candiadates from this year).
4. At the end of the day Ontario will wanna have some nice statistics saying how their reach their 90 days plan for most of the applicants (the little detail that it took another 120 days just to get AOR is not important).

So judging on all these, I think that they will finish the AOR July and August somewhere December and January. and somewhere in around that time, they will request for new batch of applicants by reopening their stream.

But this is just my opinion, so do not take it as any official statement.

Good insight.
Wishing we all get our nominations asap.

Hi Everyone!

I received an email today, requesting further additional documents. For those who might not know or remember, I'd already received an email requesting additional documents, which I submitted on October 19th. Now they're asking for updated bank statements for the past 6 monts, ECA duplicate report to be sent directly from WES to them, as well as confirmation of NOC, as they seem to have found a discrepancy between my EE X OINP profiles. They gave me 15 calendar days to submitt everything.

This is just to let you all know they are working on our files as we speak. it may not seem like it, but things are moving along. Keep the faith!

That's interesting that they have already got to March applicants.

What's your officer's initials?

Do you know why they might have got to your file so early?

Hey guys I have one question,

what is the steps?
do we get assessment phase email first then additional document reuqest and then final decision email?
