Rejections up until this date has been very, very rare. Applicants shall be rejected if OINP finds out the applicant did not satisfy the eligibility criteria at the time of PT NOI. Around 2 months back, a couple of CEC applicants were rejected because they were not eligible under CEC at the time of the PT NOI. The system offered them points incorrectly. They did not bother to check this and applied to OINP under CEC and got rejected. In the past, one applicant was rejected because he did not have a bachelor's degree (he only had a diploma). Another applicant was rejected because he didn't have at least 1 year of work experience in the past 5 years. Another FSW applicant (probably Indian) working in the US was sent a Procedural fairness letter and that letter claimed that the applicant had said "I would move to Ontario only if I get a better job there..." and more along those lines. If I remember correctly, one CEC applicant got rejected because of POF (I guess this is mentioned in Dec/Jan thread). All these have happened.

I thought the intent letter was important so I prepared it with utmost care. 3 pages. It was more like a intent letter + settlement plan. I wrote about how I'm going to establish myself in Ontario in detail highlighting employment, transportation, accommodation, health care, finance, education and adapting to the new lifestyle in Ontario. However, looks like it didn't make any kind of difference. I don't think they care about this letter. Recent pattern of FSW outland nomination suggests that they prefer one NOC over another. This might seem outlandish but look at all the recent FSW nominations - only applicants with NOC s starting with 0 (Managerial NOC s) have been getting nominations. Only one applicant "Mex" had a different NOC 2211. There was a nomination yesterday - a 10th November applicant (FSW outland) got nominated and s/he had a managerial NOC too.

I sincerely hope that we all receive our nominations soon! Good luck!

Yes Raj, thank you! You're absolutely correct in preparing the intent letter with the utmost caution as, in my opinion, is where you can make the best case for them to like you! All the rest is just the system that calculates it and for them to investigate and check out.. So it's important sure, but it just needs to be correct.. But the intent letter, oh boy, that's where you get a chance to sweet talk your way into Canada!

With regards to the NOCs I think strategically thinking 0's are the most significant, then A's then B's so they may be prioritizing it like that, or it may be just fluke luck that they need three managers and a Chemical Engineer/Technician so they looked at them first. I think we'll all get our shot in the end it's just a matter of time. You've been waiting for a really long time and I'm sorry about that, but it's just matter of being more patient I'm afraid.

Thanks for the info on the past rejections, I'd seen two cases (just searching in the forum) but since you've been around longer your experience in this is very helpful. Thanks and good luck to us all!

That's the hope. Man, this wait is so unbearable - I am not able to concentrate on anything else. The delay - I thought I would be landing in 2016. This year has passed. :(

Looking at current speed of OINP dont think we can land in Canada in 2016. Most likely by September 2017.

You may well do bestofluck, as you're a December applicant.... But for most of us here who are March and so on, the outlook is dismal!

Check the other forums... I think I saw a guy who said that as soon as he sent them a new DD he got his old one back, which is confusing as it's the opposite to what the instructions tell you to do.

I still not got aor or accepted and received or may application back

Try faxing them a letter asking them about your application... Or call them. As I understand it email is the worse way to contact them.

Hi,

My IELTS score expires in december 2016, I have received the AOR, shall I take the exam again and then send my new score to the OINP?
I will have to update my EE profile as well, right?

Shall the score copy be mailed by me or do I have to request IDP to send a copy to OINP? I took it 2 years back so I am sorry, I forgot the process.. :(

Also, the EE profile would expire in Jan, what do I have to do for that?

Yes you must give exams and get results before your IELTS expire. you have to update the information and send intimation via email to OINP. ( IELTS scores are to be updated to keep your EE profile live, so create new profile with new ILETS scores before any one of these expire)

Funtime!!

An elephant and a dog became pregnant at same time. Three months down the line the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months later the dog was pregnant again, and nine months on it gave birth to another dozen puppies. The pattern continued.
On the eighteenth month the dog approached the elephant questioning, _”Are you sure that you are pregnant? We became pregnant on the same date, I have given birth three times to a dozen puppies and they are now grown to become big dogs, yet you are still pregnant. Whats going on?”._
The elephant replied, _”There is something I want you to understand. What I am carrying is not a puppy but an elephant. I only give birth to one in two years. When my baby hits the ground, the earth feels it. When my baby crosses the road, human beings stop and watch in admiration, what I carry draws attention. So what I’m carrying is mighty and great.”._
Don’t lose faith when you see others receive answers to their prayers.
Don’t be envious of others testimony. If you haven’t received your own blessings, don’t despair. Say to yourself “My time is coming, and when it hits the surface of the earth, people shall yield in admiration.”
Enjoy the rest of the week
