OINP Application sent in March 2016

Dear Forum members,

I have received the following email from OINP yesterday after sending my additional documents.

Dear xxxxx,

You must confirm that you have created an Express Entry profile within 15 calendar days from the date of this letter. To do so, please provide the OINP with the following:

• The Express Entry number/job seeker validation code for your profile;

• A copy of the letter you have received from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada acknowledging the profile; and

• A letter explaining why you updated your profile, along with a list of the additional or updated information you provided in your profile new Express Entry profile.

OINP will continue to process your application upon receipt of this information. All statements and authorizations that you agreed to in your original application continue to apply to any new information you provide to support your application.


Thank You for your interest in the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.


Would anyone know why I am being asked to create a new profile since my previous one hasn't expired yet.

It's probably a glitch on their end..

You have two options:
1. Recreate you profile and provide the above info (advantage is that you wont need to worry about your profile expiring after you receive the NoM)
2. Reply back saying that your original profile is still active with a screen shot and send them your original documents (letter, etc.)

ADR as followes:

1. Copy of employment reference letter from xyz company along with my total annual salary plus benefits.
2. Copy of 12 months pay stubs from xyz company along with the bank statements the showing payroll deposits.
3. 2013, 2014 and 2015 Form 16s
4. Bank assessment showing all assets
5. 6 months of most recent bank statements
6. Updated IELTS test
(a) Copy of IELTS report.
(b) Copy of the letter received from IRCC acknowledging the new Express Entry profile and new job code
(c) Letter explaining, why I have created a new Express Entry profile

I think they are processing those applications which are easier to assess first.some people have not submitted ECA and Letter of intent to reside in Ontario. This might slow down their processing.Also depends on the officer. Just guessing. Finally only oinp knows what they are doing :-\

Almost 95% similar requirement for my ADR. This just gives me some confidence that I too shall get nominated. Don't know if this confidence is valid

Maybe, but what makes an application easier to process? My application is fairly standard, I basically followed Raj's excellent post to the letter and that's it... OK, isome docs are in another language but all have been duly translated into English...

Still though so long as I get it before the second draw in Jan I'll be happy.

g126, all theories with respect to OINP have been proven wrong. We haven't been able to crack their system in this 10 months old process.

So from that we can conclude that OINP is like random chaos, impossible to predict
