I'm on a risk of application package returning.

I just remember I didn't put a "N/A" to the spouse work experience on the form.

Well I think there will be many who has not written N/A. Just heard of One person who got the package return. So not to worry and just relax. IF other things are okay may be they consider. Good luck for AOR

138 days and counting. Dont know how much longer I/we need to wait :'(

hi all,

I am just thinking out loud, please don't quote me on this.

Is it possible that OINP is taking into consideration other factors like NOC, experience, funds, etc before returning applications. Like for some preferred criteria, they will have a bit more levy to accept (like they won't return file if they left blank in form and not write N/A). And for some they return even for silly reasons.

I am not sure if this could be one of the reasons? I don't see any reasons that they would be uncertain / inconsistent in their process. They are not a small medium enterprises who are creating customer database that they will have no defined process.

We might not be able to understand this whole process may be thats why we feel they are unpredictable. But i do think that there is some pattern which we dont understand / know clearly.

angel1719,

We all submitted our applications based on the basic criteria set by EE OINP after we got PT.

How are they assessing the applications is unknown. Can't predict. Obviously, it should be on the basic criteria.

Returning of applications, is inconsistent and for petty reasons. Unfortunately, now they don't allow to resubmit, which is frustrating.

Lack of info on current status of AOR/NOM, the delays, inconsistencies(90 day AOR, NOM as per user guide commitment),
unspecific replies to our mails, is causing lot of distress.

IF OINP/IRCC share the info, reply and address specific concerns, follow the user guide, follow time frames, the applicants would be happy.

They are almost ready with nominations up to December applicants ( files have moved to second phase). The pause is due to some internal policies and conflicts among themselves.

I still hope they will give nominations by November.

Highly unlikely @bestofluck.... they would need updated PoFs, interview CEC folks (some if not all) and so on before nominating . None of that that has happened for any Dec. applicant (barring few expiring WP cases, who already got nominated)

In many cultures, people live on paycheck-to-paycheck basis so OINP need to make sure that sufficient $$$ are still available with the applicant before nominating

@DigitalDesitny, everything is interconnected. Once they start nominations for November, Dec app will get additional document requests. I just say they are ready with everything, just waiting to happen may be waiting for green signal from CIC.

I received an email yesterday letting me know my application has been reviewed and accepted.

You're CEC. I guess they're processing CEC first.

Yeah, I am a CEC applicant. Thanks!

Everyone in the group is requested to confirm their Category to update the list. CEC/FSW

Seems OINP working on multiple fronts. They surely have opened all the Mar files?
