That's very interesting and very much useful information.
Thanks for letting us know Raj.

Hello,

I know the question has been addressed a lot of times, but I am not clear on the process. My EE profile expires in Jan and my IELTS score expires this Dec, I have received the AOR and waiting for further acknowledgement.

How do I update my IELTS score ? Do I have to create a new profile altogether in EE, does that mean that I withdraw this profile and create a new one? What about OINP profile? :o

Can anyone please guide me through the process and let me know the steps I need to do?
Thanks a lot!

Hello Hopeless despo,

1) First you need to make sure that with your new result your score won't change drastically ( both scores - 67 for eligibility and 400 for OINP )
2) Then open your EE profile --> view submitted application ---> Study and languages
3) You would need to fill in the form of languages again with the help of your new TRF( make sure its transmitted when you save it )
4) After you have done that open your AOR, and use the link within it which takes you to a form to update information.
5) Fill that form along with a scan of new TRF and send it to OINP ( bear that in mind that you won't get an acknowledgement for updating information, although some do )

That's it...

My SINP OID application status just changed to "Application Nominated". :D Haven't received the official notice yet, but hopefully should get it soon. I applied for SINP on Aug 30th. Can't believe it's so much easier and faster compared to OINP, not to mention it's absolutely free.

I was hoping to apply through Express Entry since it's supposed to be faster. What are the chances that OINP will refund my $1500 back? They haven't done anything other than check the application for completeness. >:(

Got the process :) However, my EE profile is also about to expire in Jan :( What can I do for that? Create a new profile all over again?
Also, if I change my job, can I input those details there as well? Will it affect my EE or OINP application?

Congratulations on your nomination! Unfortunately, OINP will not refund the fee if you have got AOR since they cash the draft you sent at the time of sending AOR (generally).

Yes. Once your profile expires you would have no other option but to create a new one and update OINP.
As far as the new job is concerned, I THINK you can just add the start details of the new job in your EE profile...
I can't see any reason why it should effect your EE and OINP application. Although if I was you I'd update OINP about that change in job using that same form.

Received nomination this morning and my WP is expiring today.
