Dear forum veterans,
I need your kind advise on filling out OINP application form. 3. Personal and Work history.
I am 38 years old now and need to fill 20 years of my history.
I have put all the education, jobs with the exact dates. However, inevitably, there are many time gaps between and there were time period when I was unemployed or traveled.
My question is: how properly fill these gaps and not to misrepresent.

1. For example I have a situation like this:

Employer A: 05/01/2009-11/03/2009
Employer B: 11/09/2009-12/31/2011 There is a gap of 6 days which usually happens when changing a job.
Should I fill these 6 days as "unemployed"? As far as I understood, there shouldn't be a gap of even 1 day, is it correct?

2. Employment finished on 12/29/2006 and then I started my graduate studies on 01/05/2007. Again, what is the proper way to describe these 6-7 days in between?

3. There were 2-3 years of being unemployed, however I have traveled during this period. Should I just say "unemployed" and not mention the trips?

Please advise! Thanks a lot.

I am 38 years old now, and as you know OINP requires all personal and educational history since 18.

Yes. You need to write this time period as um-employed if you were waiting for your new job to start.

2. Employment finished on 12/29/2006 and then I started my graduate studies on 01/05/2007. Again, what is the proper way to describe these 6-7 days in between?

You can write here "Vacations" as it is also accepted.

3. There were 2-3 years of being unemployed, however I have traveled during this period. Should I just say "unemployed" and not mention the trips?

If you did not traveled outside your country for which you had to get visa, then you can simply mention your status as en-employed. However, if you have traveled outside your country for which you had to get visa and get your passport stamped at immigration counter, then you have to mention those travels.

For such travels, you can mention the details as following example;

10/02/2012 TO 10/03/2012 ..... N/A ...... Belgium (Country for which you are travelling from your home country) ........ Travelling

Please advise! Thanks a lot.
