Good afternoon,

I am working in Ontario and my wife, and I just applied for the provincial nominee program under the foreign worker job stream yesterday Jan 1, 2019, our points are not that good for express entry right now, but in four months we will be close to 450 or even more.

I heard that we are not able to apply through Express entry if I am nominated and I will be forced to apply to the PR using the paper-based application which takes between 15 and 19 months, is that right? Also, we do not get the 600 points with this stream

Last, If I get the ITA before the nomination, can I apply through the express entry instead?

Thank you

Yes you are right. No 600 points and paper application - 15 to 19 months.

you can go through express entry if you get ITA before nomination. all you loose is $1500. but you might get through everything within 8 to 10 months.

Nope. Still at Decision in Progress status (applied Dec 6 2018). OINP has not announced its 2019 allocation or anything yet so I'm not panicking.

Mine just got Approved.

Can we apply for PR with clb 6 rather than clb 7 in IELTS with 2 years of Canadian work experience under skill level b.If yes then whats the time frame for the process.

Hi Everyone,

Can someone suggest for OINP ISJO if the status changes to DIP, can they still ask for additional docs. What are the chances and how long will it take for it go to final step.

Appreciate guidance. Thank you.
