In my EE, my work history is 4 yr NOC 1111 (in last 6-9 yrs) and 5 yr NOC 2171 (in last 5 yrs), and thus my primary noc I use 2171.

However, since I saw many people get rejection under SINP because of mismatch NOC 2171 (they should be 2173). Thus when I apply NS PNP (if they open this year), am I eligable to apply under 1111 instead of 2171? When I apply NS PNP, the occupation I applied, is it necessary to be the same as my primary NOC?

Thanks for your help.

I think NOC 1111 is a Licensed Job. And it is at least impossible for out lander applicant to get License.
Ans. No, it is not necessary the occupation you applied to be the same as your Primary NOC.

Is it possible to write 2 intend occupation (2 NOC) in the NS PNP form? Both are under demand list and honestly, I am open to any job after landed.

Hi All,

I have confusion regarding a question in Generic Application form for Canada. For SINP, which option should I choose for below question for EE profile and OID both under SINP?

Category under which you are applying: Should I choose "Skilled worker" or "Provincial Nominee"?

Please help.

You can choose any.
But Provincial Nominee is better.

Hi,

I have tried to get answer to my question on other threads but received no response.

Actually, I have applied under NOC 1111 as primary NOC under EE FSW-O since I have 6 years of audit experience with one of the Big 4 Audit firms. I have done CA and ACCA UK but I do not have any Canadian CPA or CGA. My remaining 4 years experience in last 10 years is under NOC 0111. My ECA by WES says Bachelor's Degree 3 yrs for my CA and Bachelor's degree 4 yrs for ACCA UK. Im worried since I do not have Canadian CPA or any other Canadian qualification, would it raise any concern during eligibility assessment? I have read on this forum that Canadian Qualification is required if you are applying under PNP stream being a Regulated profession in Canada.

So, it is OK that my Primary NOC is 2171 and I apply for PNP with NOC 1114?
I have 8 years of experience under NOC 2171 and 1 year under NOC 1114.

I might put NOC 1114 as primary but I've worked as an IT Financial Planer during my last year of school (2014) and I got my bachelor degree in Economics in 2015. I am afraid that there could be a problem with the specified date when I became qualified to practice in this occupation. Also, I got my Computer Science degree in 2009 and since 2010 have worked in occupations related to IT consulting.

So, again am I ok with putting the Primary NOC 2171 and I apply for PNP with NOC 1114?

Thank you!
