OHIP card for visitor visa extension - till 2015

We applied visitor visa extension for our daughter and got the extension till 2015/12/11 under the category temporary resident status maintained as per R183(6). She is in Ontario from April 2013 and her PR application is in process (status: application received from May 18th 2013). Our Question is Can we apply for her OHIP card now? as she here for more than 180 days and she have her visa until 2015.....Please suggest.....

I suggest you talk to OHIP. Provincial health care all have different rules about dependents. Some might cover in this case, some might not. OHIP is one of the more difficult ones but you don't lose anything by trying.
