Hi everyone,

are all new york office applicants will expect delays or longer processing times due to hurricane Sandy?
New york office received my passport last week( they request it) i hope that's for trv stamping and wp
approval.

In the news it was mentioned that within 4-5 days all services will be resumed as normal. Hope this applies to the VIsa processing as well.

Thanks rajaryan

hope to recover soon in order not to affect all life processes.

hi,
I also send my visitor visa to Canadian Embassy in New York via mail and no information till now.

To my surprise, I just noticed that in New York's website, it says, "As of June 18, 2012, the visa office in New York will no longer accept Temporary Resident Permit"

I am so worried about this.
Are you sure we can apply visitor visa in new york embassy?
Thank you.

Hi,

The notification refers to Temporary Resident Permits and not TRVs. The New York consulate certainly processes temporary resident visas.
