Official Landing - USA/Canada Border

Hi All,
My wife finally got your PR visa, we need to officially cross the border and officially land.
We plan to do it at the Niagara Falls border.

The question is, when we enter the US side, do we just tell US Custom we need to land and point us back to Canada side,
or do we need to do paper work and cross into the US side than come back?

If we tell the US custom we want to go back to Land will they let us go back or we need to officially enter USA then come back to Canada?

Tell them you're there to land in Canada and they will give y a piece of paper which is your administrative refusal and they will send you back to Canadian border
