It has been almost 24 months since I submitted my application, which has been routine (no requests for information or documents from the CIC). I haven't got the test invitation yet. The officer from the call center told me today that, once it has been 24 months, I should call them again, and the call center agent would be able to send a notice to my local office asking them to take look if they can send me the test invitation.

Did anybody have any experience with this. Does it help?

Thanks!

Yes when the routine processing time pass you may send by e mail.
Case specific query check CIC website and also call the CIC call centre
possible day will be Wednesday where CIC are not busy than they will look
into your file and will send the reminder to local office to advise reason for delay
and expedite the matter in my case they did and now my file is moving in right
direction.

Great! Thanks for your reply. How do you know it's moving in the right direction? Did you get your test letter?
