offered a job, what visa i need?

I am offered a university research job, on contract for 1 year. My PR application file is with CPP-Ottawa and is in process.

I live in India. I am confused what kind of visa I should apply for to take this job?

My PGWP is expired.

OK then yes you can apply for TRV there shouldn't be any problem and I am not sure but when you will land they will provide you with a work permit after looking at your job offer.
