HELLO,
MY OFF CAMPUS WORK PERMIT IS ABOUT TO EXPIRE ON AUGUST 30... I WILL APPLY FOR POST GRADUATION WORK PERMIT. MY CONCERN IS THAT CAN I WORK AFTER AUGUST 30 IF I HAVE ALREADY APPLIED FOR THE POST GRADUATION WORK PERMIT. OR I CAN'T WORK UNTIL I WILL GET POST GRAD WORK PERMIT?
THANKS IN ADVANCE

No you cannot work till to get your PGWP. After your off campus work permit expires you need to stop working till you have a valid work permit.

thanx for advice

@draxz1289: I am under the impression that the OP will be under implied status, provided the OP doesn't leave the country after August 30th and before getting the PGWP. Doesn't that mean that the OP can continue working?

Correct. According to this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/guide-dir.asp

Implied status: Students who have completed their studies and have submitted an application for a Post- Graduation Work Permit, when they are in possession of a valid study permit and a valid Off-Campus Work Permit, may continue to work off-campus until a decision on their application has been made.

In case your employer is concerned about your expired SIN #, you can give them a copy of this: http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/sin/employers/expiry.shtml
