Hi guys, I have received my EVN after a while. Now can anyone help or guide me as how do I apply for the off campus work permit?

Go to cic.gc.ca and follow procedure or I think you can also apply from your MYCIC account.

When you login into your mycic account, On the home page you will find a link for OCWP . Click that and follow the instructions. Hope this information helps you.

I know I did that. I need help in filling up the imm5710 form. I don't know what to write in the document number?

u should find document number on ur study permit i think it is client id but do a google search and read the application guide link below...and lol no u cannot work .....u need SIN to work legally and u cannot apply for SIN without work permit .....

hi, @mead : please have you now gotten your OCWP, my program also started in January, but I didn't take any course during summer, the international office at ottawaU suggested I wait till oct/nov before applying for OCWP, quite a number of people say they didn't have to wait that long.

u cannot apply for OCWP if u have taken a leave of absence for the summer sem assuming u joined in winter sem as u have not completed 6 months of study.
