Singhboy you may be right with regard to your friends medicals...... cic has strange ways of functioning and make people jump the queue while others patiently wait for their turn. Probably this may be the only immigration system in the world where queue jumping is applied without any apparent logic. So your friend may be the lucky guy who fell in the 30% cases or 50%.
