Processing Times at Individual Visa Offices in Asia and Pacific = New Delhi
30% of cases finalized in:63(months)
50% of cases finalized in:71 (months)
70% of cases finalized in:74 (months)
80% of cases finalized in:76 (months)
Singhboy you may be right with regard to your friends medicals...... cic has strange ways of functioning and make people jump the queue while others patiently wait for their turn. Probably this may be the only immigration system in the world where queue jumping is applied without any apparent logic. So your friend may be the lucky guy who fell in the 30% cases or 50%.

Currently Finalizing Applications Received = July 2003
So for your case you will have to have a look for the Delhi specific website cited above mate and the way they are processing it may take ages..... God bless you and all other applicants in the backlog.
