Montreal office. Not sure if it had an impact but she applied for ATIP last week. Maybe that triggered something.
Also note that, she had been requested fingerprints three months ago. She had too many trips as well. So those might cause the long processing times.
You can see timeline in my signature.
ATIP doesn’t trigger anything , trust me I have ordered 4 ! LOL

Anyone here who hasn't received test yet, I was wondering if has add more document then was required in application?
I myself have add more then was required in the list, and now I have feeling, that could be one of reasons why, my application is slowing down so much.

Don't worry, things can change quickly. The notes I received about a week ago (thus contains info 5 week ago) look exactly like this, and I'm Decision Made right now. But like you said they might invite you for test when you want it the least...

Thanks, that gives me hope :)

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Adding documents to make them happy would save time down the road.

That's not normal for Calgary. Normal for Mississauga, the slowest center in Canada but not Calgary.

I am concern with our family application - with son and wife.

Submitted: Oct 26, 207
AOR: Dec 4, 2017
In-Process: Jan 3, 2018
Office:Scarborough

Is there anybody from Scarborough in the same situation as I do? We still don't have any exam date yet.

Did anyone apply for their GCMS notes? I just received mine today, and under criminality it says "Fingerprints required" with a due date of February 2018. However the notes confirm that the fingerprints havent been requested from me. I also called them about a month ago and they confirmed that they havent sent any communication apart from the AOR. My application has been in process since December 6 2017, no test date yet.

IP since Dec 2nd. Any way to follow up on GCMS notes? Been 50 days and I haven't gotten any thing.

What makes most people upset or irritated is the huge variability of the entire process as well as the lack of transparency.
For many immigrants, "America" is the land of possibilites and, above all, a place where meritocracy reigns. The fact that processing times of citizenship applications can vary by up to 2-300% with no apparent explanation conveys a deep sense of unfairness.

One thing that upsets me a lot is that I had plenty of time since October to pass the test, but now that summer is around the corner, I am traveling out of the city for personal or work reasons very often. I am so stressed that they will finally send me a test date for when I am not here (high chance it will happen, I am away two full weeks in July and one week in August).

Can someone remind me where to find the online contact form to inform CIC of our absences?

Thanks!
