My UCI starts from CANXXX. Can I call IRCC to ask for an update? Do I need any other details to speak with them?

Hey all,
Any FSW O Non PNP applicant with AOR 12/Oct or onwards received BIL in last couple of days including today ? Last FSW - O (Non PNP) to receive BIL was of AOR 11/Oct. I am looking for any updates after that.

P.S. My AOR is 20/Oct, yet to receive BIL request.

That is a temporary UCI number, it will get updated once your file is picked up by an agent. You can speak with IRCC, all you need is your Application number and personal details for verification. When did you receive the AOR?

AOR 30-Oct. Zero updates after this date, No BIL request and No Medical request. I am FSW-O with 2 dependants.

In same boat as you. I'm FSW-O, Non-PNP.

Hii twoster, i think we are on the same track, as I confirmed with cic agent that my pr file is being processed at CPC
Did you get Biometrics instruction letter to submit from them in your Gc key account? If then did you submit your Biometrics? Then UCI changes to number only.

Update: my MED updated the expiry date to Jan 8, 2025 in the tracker. Is it a good sign for Copr?

I'm AOR NOV 17 inland pnp, I see exempt under my biometrics status. Is this ok? Has this happened to anybody and what does it mean?

As far as I know it means that you don't need to give biometrics and it's ok. It's like completed by default.

My GC showed my previous biometers info before I got a new BIL.
Be patient. I think you will get a BIL soon in one or two weeks.

Very hard for anyone to say how much time it will take. Unless you are sent for comprehensive security screening, background check in itself can be done within days or weeks. But as I wrote earlier, the delay can happen because of the application waiting to move between sub stages of background check(e.g. criminality to security): https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...threads/october-aor-2023.824558/post-10717604
I’ve stucked between criminality passed and security not started for over two months. Is it still possible for them to send my case to comprehensive security check, or I should be good and just need to wait for a normal security check?
