received medical request dec 20 thru email
done with my medical jan 3-4.
forwarded to CEM Jan 7.

Guyz i have question i have received my medical request for almost 2mons and now do i have to wait for 2-3months for the result for the visa? thanks a lot.

Guyz Additional question if your a member in this forum if you have a result from embassy usually they will send you thru email? coz i read in the other thread they send thru email for the result. tnxs again.... it is not easy to wait for visa... God help us...

Sad to say but you're right. There's nothing you can do after your medical exam but to wait. If the luck is on you, you'll wait for just one month after medical. If not, waiting usually takes 2-3 months. If they will ask you additional documents it will be longer. Yesterday i meet a guy at the POEA processing his OEC also and he told me due to additional documents he received his visa one year after. The documents ask by the CEM are police clearance from his previous jobs abroad from 3 different countries.

Just today, migwelder and jiae_05 (SEpt applicants) informing us that they received an email from CEM indicating the good news of visa approval but the passport has not yet arrived.

I hope my application will not take so long.... Mostly of september applicants they already received their visa congrats guys. October applicant will be next in line. Hopefully...... By the way leextream may i ask what is the meaning of OEC? tnxs....

Thanks po... OEC stands for Overseas Employment Certificate. Its like your exit clearance and other things favorable to OFW like exemption of travel tax and terminal fee... If you applied through agency, they will process that to you but if direct hire, you have to patiently get it from POEA.
