What the heck is IRCC doing? Overbooking oath ceremonies like airlines overbook seats...and then bumping people off to different dated?Hello,

I feel so relieved it's hard to describe. Me clicking that stupid button for the 800th time expecting the same error and instead Chrome downloaded a file. Just an incredible feeling, and a beautiful certificate. I now feel that I am truly Canadian.

I posted about a family member's experience recently on this a few weeks ago: short form, the rescheduling was faster than we expected (just a few days). But the slot for the in-person was the last Friday before the elections ( probably last ceremony where you can be sure you'll be able to vote), so I think you're right that if you want to vote, don't try rescheduling now.
Most provinces and municipalities also use citizenship to qualify to vote - so chances are you'll get a chance to vote a few times before four years. )))
