I have a Nigerian and American Passport. I got my PR via my American passport. I only use my Nigerian passport when I visit Nigeria and I have done that twice in the last 5 years preceding my application. In the course of my travels I have visited UK using my American passport and travelled to Nigeria with just my Nigerian passport then re-entered US/Canada. My travel history seems to be all over the place. I have been asked to submit all the pages of my passport. At some point I have entered Canada with just my US passport (did not show my PR status). The last time I re-entered Canada, the officer said I overstayed my "visit". It was not until I showed him my PR card I was let in.
What should I do to simplify this? Should I write a letter explaining my travel history.
PS: I only included my my American passport pages initially, now I am including both.

I thought y’all said the interview was going to be a walk in the park.
Well the interviewer dug on my work history for about 42 minutes as I work remotely for a US company that helps the Canadian Government - which means I am on secondment to the Federal Government. Certainly my extensive travel history did not help matters. I also had to clarify my residency and loyalty to both US and Canada. I mean come on I pay taxes to both countries.
Overall, he seemed not to be keen of me living in the States.
