Hi everyone! I applied on October 26th and all of my steps have been marked as complete since December 18th. The only thing in progress is the Oath Ceremony. Anyone in the same boat?

Hi All,

We applied for citizenship in October 2023. The first update that showed the application was received was on October 17th. From then, everything was going smooth till we were asked to submit our fingerprints on Jan 2nd. We did our Citizenship test on December 27th and it was updated on Jan 3rd. We submitted our Fingerprints on Jan 5th and tracker shows it was received on Jan 29th. The last update was on Feb 7th, when Language Skills and Physical Presence was updated to Completed. Since then there has been no update and its been on "In Progress" ever since.

Does anyone know if this is normal or how long can it take to see some positive updates. Has been waiting anxiously for a long time and my Indian Passport is expiring this month. Not sure if I should renew that or wait for an update on citizenship. (hopefully positive)
Hi. Has it moved forward since ? ...Did you apply for renewal of your passport ?

Thank you. Since am done with citizenship test, etc. and only waiting for LPP/ oath update, would you still recommend uploading the new docs using webform ? ...I am asking this as I have read somewhere that raising webforms also slows down the application processing.

Do IRCC officers work? I guess that they stopped their work in the name of the high volume of applications.

Nothing happened for more than 4 months since I passed citizenship test. Even BG is still in progress. I have no idea about the reason.

Everything is just a kind of random. Probably IRCC officers would play on-line games or enjoy their hobbies whole the day.
