I thought I'd start a thread for October applicants. Here's my history so far, on behalf of my Cuban mother-in-law. I'd be happy to see other people's progress:

Oct 13: application submitted and received, IRCC client number generated

Oct 13: request for biometrics appointment

I submitted visitor visa application for my son (1 year old) on September 22, 2022. There is no update as of now. Can somebody tell me what is the processing time for visitor visa application by the IRCC recently?

Depends on the country if application and even so, processing times vary widely.

Hi Members,
My inlaws visitor visa got rejected saying strong ties in Canada . I have received the GCMS notes there also mentioned strong ties.
I am planning to apply SUPER VISA now, could anyone suggest what kind of document will work to handle the refusal reason

Applied for my parents visitor visa.
*New portal
*Date of submission- October 16,2022
*BIL for father- October 16,2022
*BIL for mother- October 18,2022
*my father has valid US visa and travel history to US and Canada in last 10 years.

Do you think my dad’s application will be processed under Can plus??
As i applied as a family group,is there any chance my mom’s application can be processed within less time too??

I don't think you can apply for your inlaws by yourself, you'll need your PR spouse to co sign the documents.
