It might be accepted if you have a reasonable ground to remain abroad, but the trick is you have to apply for a Canadian passport to be able to come back to Canada.
Btw, when did you get your oath invitation email after your tracker showed oath update? I got my oath date on tracker yesterday, but the email invitation is yet to come.

I looked at the previous applicants timeline and Toronto always sends the email invitation around 10 days before the oath date.

Were you waiting for security clearance, if so, do you know when it started, did you get any notes, CBSA, or IRCC , it looks like you waited could be from Jan to Nov for Background, I am waiting from March

No, I did not get any notes. I did a finger print in Jan. I asked my MP for help, but every time they said its in a background check with RCMP and IRCC has no access.

My ECAS status changed to Decision Made today. No changes in tracker though, it still shows lpp in progress and oath not started.
I completed my test on 6th March and it got updated in tracker on 6th April. First update since then. Any idea when I can expect oath invitation? Thanks
