Curious on why it took over 3 months for you to get AOR?

Okay, I have an update. I just received and email regarding passport gap. See below, no AOR yet. But maybe I can still consider this as good news?


Passport Gap('s):
There is a gap in the validity period of the passport
covering the (5) years immediately before the date of the application.
Please provide an explanation why the passport does not cover the entire period of time from 2021/12/22 to 2022/04/26 and whether you traveled outside Canada
during that period.

I responded to the link they provided. I explained that we didn't travel during those period and we don't have a consulate here in our area that's why it took sometime for us to renewed our passport.

I'm not sure when mine started to be "In Progress" since I had issue registering for the tracker, took about almost 4 weeks until I was finally able to register.

I had sent several webforms, took about 3 if I remember correctly. It seems the tracker registration was acting up back then not sure if that is still the current case...

If one person in the family application receives AOR, everyone gets it. Watch for AORs for each child. If you don't receive them in a few days, call IRCC to verify the e-mail IDs for each application that did not receive AOR and get the application numbers so you can register in the racker
