And now that I think about it, I got another question.
I will apply with my husband and when I tried to apply online, I got a question if I am applying alone or as a family.
I answered as a family and I got the answer that I can not apply online. But now that I am filling in the application form, the questions are all about me. There are none about my husband. So, he will apply separately, right?
I just want to make sure that I can't apply online, right?

On the other hand I got a child that was born in Canada. Again there were no questions about her. I understand that she is already a citizen but it sounds weird that there are no questions about children. I just want to make sure I got it right. I got Mom brain these days. :p:confused:

Thank you again

Hello everyone,
feels wonderful to be back on this forum :). Hope everyone is doing well.
I will be eligible to apply for citizenship by the end of October Yay:D! I came to Canada in October 2018.
I got a question relating the application, specifically the question about taxes.
"Tell us when you filed taxes...
Obviously I filed taxes in Canada for 2018, 2019 and 2020. But not for 2017 and 2016. In my home country we are not required to file taxes so I haven't filed any. Should I live those boxes blank?
TIA
For the paper version, there are two sets of columns where you got to mark that you were not eligible to file in 2016 and 2017 , and another set where you mark that you didn't file these years.

So the question is about filing taxes in Canada, got it. Thank you

Thinking about applying online too. I hope someone answers this although online application system started in August I guess.
Don't worry. It will pass on the day you submit your application. Say you plan to submit on Oct 20, your eligibility end date should be Oct 19. If you log in to the application website on any day before Oct 20, the system will complain.

Hello,
It’s good to be back. Hoping to see familiar names.
I will submit the application next month. I was just wondering how long the whole process takes?
is there a difference in time between provinces? And is the process affected by COVID?

Is there any link of spreadsheet for citizenship applications?
If anyone knows please share.
Thank you

Hi All; wondering if someone can please help me. I applied online and submitted my application on Saturday 09 October.

Two mistakes I think I made;

1) 2 Forms of ID I submitted my Ontario Drivers License and my PR Card. It was only after I submitted I realized that my PR Card (may not be accepted). Am I correct in this thinking? I also submitted bio pages for my 2 (non Canadian) passports.

Should I contact IRCC and try to submit a scanned copy of my Ontario Health Card?

2) I did not upload the back of the 'photo' with the 'photographer' business information. Instead I populated the given fields of the application ie

* Name of photographer or business
* Address of photographer or business
* Date photo was taken

Should I have uploaded the 'back' of the photo as well (with the photographer's stamp)?

Thank you in advance of your help.
