First, i got am update saying my oath is on Nov 1st and that i will receive an email soon. When, i checked back the Nov 1st date was gone and it just show to in progress. Now, with the new update, I get a message saying:
You need to submit additional information.

• We sent you a letter or email asking for additional information.
• Follow the letter or email’s instructions to continue with your application.

But no email received. Anybody else in the same boat?

So everyone got a ghost update for 7th/8th October and its just because of the tracker update??

Mine is Updated October 7, citizenship test is complete, everything else is in progress.

I have the same issue this morning. The additional document requested was sent long back and it was also recorded as received. But all of a sudden there is a statement saying "we are waiting on you"
Looks like we moving backwards

I checked tracker today and it showed a new updated date 'October 8'. However, since yesterday, it still showed the old updated date of August 8.

However, nothing else has changed in the tracker.

Does this mean anything or am i getting my hopes too high?

how do you know what your office is?

Sometimes it is pretty obvious: when you apply in Ottawa, your application is processed in Ottawa. You confirm this once you receive an email from the processing office (e.g. a test invitation). The email address shows which office deals with your application.

It seems like they recently updated the status tracker website. I had to reset my password today. Once logged in, my application showed a ghost update on Oct 8, which was not there before in the old status tracker.

They redesigned the tracker account. Everyone now has a ghost update on either Oct 07 or Oct 08

So this update doesn't mean anything? except for the font, everything else looks the same in the tracker.

That is anybody's guess. Cant really speculate what's happening unless one has access to GCMS notes sort of thing(PR application has GCMS but unsure if citizenship grant application also has it)

In Saskatchewan is also crawling, very slow. I seen in BC files moving quickly
