Yes ,you have to login to see ur oath date earlier as oath in progress but the actual oath invitation letter containing the zoom instruction will be sent to ur email like 7 to 10 days before ur actual oath date.

I applied in Oct 2021 and no update for me since March 2022 after completing citizenship test.
Only background verification is completed and rest are "in progress"
I applied from Langley BC - paper application
I'm seeing ppl getting citizenship who applied after me in nov/dec 2021 but my file is not moving. I also have to plan to leave country for short term work and my PR card is in the verge of expiring, I think pr card renewal also takes some time.
I'm thinking of sending an access to information (ATIP) request to know what is happening to our file.

just wanted to know if anyone has done something similar, I'm not a very frequent user of Canadavisa forum and I'm not sure if this was discussed earlier, kindly provide some inputs.

thanks

It's honestly very random. I'd say apply for a new PR card in case you need to use it for emergencies. You may get an oath date soon and the $50 will be wasted but it's better than being left high and dry in case you do need to leave the country

Hello sister! My wife's status is changed to "Completed". All the fields are changed to "completed" except Oath. The oath is still "not started"

I'll keep you posted. No problem. By the way, I am no Bro. I am She/Her :))

By looking at the spreadsheet for Sept & Oct 2021, it seems like Toronto applicants are being processed much slower compared to others. Or am I mistaken? My test and BG were marked completed since July/Aug but no movement since then. Not even language or prohibition checks.

Congrats! Quick Question, for Niagara Office - do they allow to pick the certificate in person? I am travelling outside Canada within a week after my oath, hence wondering I can get the certificate from their office the same day as oath or next day!

thanks

When I applied for citizenship in October 2021, I also submitted a pr card renewal app as my card was expiring too. It took about 8 weeks to get my new pr card.

I also requested my notes for the citizenship application and I never received them! I got my citizenship in July and actually received an email in August saying my case was closed so the notes wouldn't be sent. But it's worth a try I guess.
