Any one waiting for over 6 months for oath?
applied October 2nd , BG and completed tests on 22 February 2022 and still waiting for oath. Is it normal for the DM and oath to take this much time? Any options?

I am! I took the test on Feb 26 and also no update after test was marked as completed.

There has been no update to my application since AOR received on 17-Jan. It was a paper application for a family of 3. Anyone else in a similar boat? It seems it is stuck in some limbo.

Yes, my AOR was January 12 and no update since then. My application is from Saskatoon, and your's

I think, they gonna speed up after the fall admission season. Looks like the student visa is in a complete mess atm.

It looks like they have intentionally slowed down Citizenship application process this month. Could be because of Student applications or, even for Passport processing delays. They know, they have issues with new passport processing.

It looks like they have intentionally slowed down Citizenship application process this month. Could be because of Student applications or, even for Passport processing delays. They know, they have issues with new passport processing.

I think so too. But I also heard that they hired 60% more staff, but mostly for passport processing (not for citizenship). They said it can take up to 12 weeks for the newcomers to get trained, and only after the training is complete they are allowed to do the actual work. Ultimately citizenship applicants will go under the pile. Hopefully now that school has reopened, travel will be less, until it skyrockets again in December.

It's normal mine is just like you, I got DM but my son's tracker was still showing everything is In Progress. But we both received the oath ceremony invitation at the same time, even though his tracker still shows that everything is in progress.

My ceremony letter states: "Video oath ceremony Date and Time: 2022-09-07 (yyyy/mm/dd) at 10:15 AM (Time Zone) (Canada) "

Is it 10:15am Easten Time ?

Online status updated, scheduled for Oath on 10th October 2022. I am surprised they will do oath on a stat holiday like ThanksGiving. <3

I have taken the citizenship test today, August 30, and passed, 20/20 (a preliminary result, as I understand). Now waiting on my wife to take the test (ours is a family application).

I got the test invite on August 17. All the other details are in the signature. Could I please ask anyone who has editing rights on the Google Sheet Tracker to update my details?

I completed my test on August 23rd, no update regarding test completion yet! I am also from Ottawa. Let's see how long to wait to see the completion update.

No update for me as of yet. Submitted on Aug 3rd and RCMP sent on August 10th. I am planning to send them webform or reply to the email I received fingerprint request.

Nice I received FP request directly via email, there were no updates in my tracker for FP request. I have not received any updates yet..Hopefully soon.
