Got a ghost update on 28th July 2022 but nothing has changed so far. No email, no online update. Anyone know what might be the ghost update for? Fingerprints? Something else?

Anyone know if it's possible to get fingerprint request once Background check is updated to Completed?

I have never heard of it being asked for after background check is complete, except when fingerprints were asked for before and 6 months have passed since then.

I'm a very similar timeline to you (except no 'Ghost' Email) - see my timeline below.

I am unsure if not getting a 'Ghost' Email is a 'good' or a 'bad' thing? Can anyone answer this question?

I am the same too. Two ghost updates (last on July 22) and nothing since.

I can't see how ghost update could be a bad thing. At the worst it is meaningless and signifies zero progress.

Timelines are same for me and wife., no changes at all to my kids applications.

I think it varies by the office issuing the oath invite.
