It seems like some AOR's are issued for some of the applications delivered after Mar 2020. The average that I have seen on the threads would be approx. 6 months from date of delivery

Does anyone know if the scanned copy of my general IELTS results would be sufficient for the proof of language proficiency? My test results are already expired, and IELTS is no longer issuing an official copy after 2 years.

I also have my transcripts in English, but it is not in a sealed envelop. I cannot also request for an official copy, as they have stopped the mailing service during the COVID. My only option is to request an e-transcript. Any thoughts?

Thanks

Is this the same ilets which you had used for your PR application? If yes then you can use the same expired ielts.

1. Yes, you can use Canada Xpresspost service with the above address
2. You can use UPS
3. You can use a letter size envelope
4. Expired test results used for the PR should be accepted without issues.

Scanned copy of general IELTS results is fine even when expired. I submitted a 7 years old one. They are clear about this that they accept expired IELTS results.

Not necessarily that you should have used it in the PR application. even if you didn't use it is still good.

Hi Guys,

I've just included a copy of my Passport to satisfy the Passport and Personal Information Document...

Unfortunately, the checklist mentions of 2 photos required but not about 2 Personal Information ID...

Do you think they'll return my application back... or will they just ask me to send the extra piece of ID ???

They will send your application back as it is incomplete. The application guide very clearly says that you need to include two pieces of ID, one of which can be your passport but can't be your PR card. You only included one piece of ID (your passport) but if you didn't include anything else, I wouldn't waste time waiting for them to send back your application but instead send a new application with the same receipt and a letter of explanation (and of course, the second piece of ID).

Hi Everyone, please a quick question. Am about submitting my application and it requires photocopies of two (2) pieces of personal identification. Can I submit a copy of my passport bio data page and a copy of my Ontario health card? Don't know if health card will be accepted

Thanks for the response

Yes you can see below:

photocopies of two (2) pieces of personal identification.

Examples of identification you can use include:

  • a copy of the biographical page of your passport/travel document (as requested above and also can be one (1) of your pieces of personal identification)
  • driver’s licence
  • health insurance card
  • senior citizen identification card
  • age of majority card
  • foreign identity documents, such as a passport or government issued identification documents
