Hey Folks, after Oath how long does it take for Citizenship Certificate to arrive.
For Canadian Passport is it better to apply in person via Service Canada or mail in? how long does it take?

I filed for Mandamus using one of the immigration lawyers. Let's hope it will help in speeding up my application. Only thing which I can think of that made file non routine is writing citizenship test outside Canada. Dint knew it would make my file non-routine.
How do you know your file is non-routine? Did you apply for GCMS, got the reply recently and non-routine is mentioned in there?
I applied for GCMS i have a note TFR due to eligibility - Citizenship test wrote outside Canada. It was transferred from Nova Scotia to Mississauga office. Whenever I call cic agent tell i see you have written exam outside Canada that is what they told me . So I assume its non-routine application

You should do it ASAP. Yours is too delayed.If my husband and myself haven’t get a test invite till now , is it a good idea to file mandamus with a lawyer. We are stuck at April 23rd last update

I am worried that they would say it’s still under the 27 months processing time
No I told I am just going for a month and Mississauga officer acknowledged it. Let's see if I receive an interview or they proceed without that. Filed Mandamus too
If you don’t mind sharing , How much did it cost you to file for the Mandamus, I have been told it’s expensive and only applicable for very delayed applications (in years)
