Hello everyone, on 4th of Jan 2022 got all completed except Oath ceremony,, today "Prohibition" updated to In process (it was completed from last update back in January). Any thoughts or comments on such update is appreciated. Thanks

Anyone stuck with last update date as Feb 14 on application - Mississauga office ?

I had received test invite from Mississauga office in August, then file was transferred to GTA-CEN, got DM on Feb 7th and since then no updates ☹. Are you located in Mississauga or some other place? If it's some other city then file might have been transferred due to workload.

I am located in Mississauga area. I have one ghost update on my application on Feb 14th. Background and Citizenship test are changed to passed, rest all are in progress for me.

My citizenship certificate arrived today. Very cathartic experience. I wish you all my fellow Oct applicants the best (IMO the last lag of the process is the most difficult. I didn't check my tracker much untill the test but after that almost daily)

Just got my oath invitation today for April 19th
I got the email on the same time as the new update on the tracker!

Congrats! I applied 2 days after you so hopefully, mine will be arriving soon . You're already updated in the tracker.

How long did it take to arrive from the oath ceremony date?

Thanks. My Oath ceremony was on March 24 th. File was closed on March 29. It is kind of assumed that when they print the cert they mark the file complete at the same time. However I do not think anybody know this for certain. My Oath was with the Niagara office but I live in Ottawa so with actual mailing and delivery took a little while to receive.

You are right! I called after oath and my certificate was printed the day before the oath. Yet my file was closed a week after oath and certificate wasn’t mailed. I still haven’t received certificate yet. Now getting to 4 weeks. So I think it depends on the office and the officer.

Question : Please only list the periods of time you had authorized temporary resident or protected person status in Canada and the type of status you had between 2017-08-03 and 2019-12-06 and select Add Entry. Select Calculate when you have finished listing all periods of temporary residence.

Doubt: Here do I have to fill the time when I got my first Canada Work Visa? or Do I have to mention the time I landed in Canada? The doubt is I got the Canada Visa before I landed in Canada which is January 2017, but here the question they are asking is to fill the time between 2017-08-03 and 2019-12-06 so how shall I fill my work permit details here

You should be noting the words "status in Canada ". So its not about the visa. The application requires physical residence, not just visa/legal travel document.
So you have to fill the details of statuses you held during the time period while you were inside Canada.

Oath: April 26th, 2022
