Does everyone get the remedical request ? Or it gets extended automatically if you are in safe category(M1) ? How much time do you guys get for doing remedical ?

Congratulations to those who got re-med request email!! I am wondering, did these applications get the generic email that was sent last week by IRCC 'We are still working on your application bla bla.....'

@legalfalcon please advise what I should do I'm pretty sure I made a mistake. I got Sep2020 Nomination from SINP, and AOR from IRCC End of Oct/start of Nov2020. Express Entry application currently in progress. My SINP nomination expired Mar2021 and I got notification in SINP system (OASIS) for "Request for Nomination Revision and/or Extension" I panicked and submitted for Nomination Extension (and attached scanned copy of new passport also). I went back to my SINP nomination letter and it states
"This nomination certificate expires on 04‐Mar‐2021. To use this nomination, you must be invited to apply by Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and submit a complete application to IRCC before this date" and that's when I realized I made a mistake.

Will this affect my IRCC application at all?? Do I need to undo or cancel my request for nomination extension, if yes how??

P.S. I have a new passport because the old one expired earlier this year. I already submitted webform to IRCC to update them. The "Request for Nomination Revision and/or Extension" does state that a "request for revision" is needed if a new passport is obtained. Unfortunately in my panic I submitted a "request for extension", which is a different button from "request for revision". I did attach a scanned copy of the new passport in my request for extension along with the lines "IRCC application is still in progress and delayed due to the pandemic". How do I undo all this? I don't want to jeopardize my Express Entry application that is currently in progress

Why you made mistake? You got nomination certificate in Sep 2020, you used it to apply through EE and got invited, and you submitted your application in Oct 2020. Now your application is in progress. The certificate has an expiry date because if you don’t use the certificate to apply in EE within the time frame, it will become invalid nomination and you cannot use it to get 600 points in EE, which guarantees an invitation to you to submit the application. If I understand you correctly, what is wrong here?

Btw, I got my provincial nomination in Feb 2020 and submitted my application through EE in May 2020. My passport expired in Dec 2020 and I renewed it, updated IRCC with the new passport info. I don’t have to do anything with the nomination at this stage.

You have already applied to IRCC. If so. no need to worry. Just send an email or call SINP and make sure that your nomination is valid.

Hi,

As a November AOR, I have to say that it is nice to see some movements in the form of remeds requests for October AORs ;-)

For those who have received that request, how long did it take between that request and the time your meds expired ?
Our medicals were done 3rd Oct, 2020.
The application showed them as expired somewhere on 5-6th Oct, 2021.
Received the re-med request on 18th Oct, 2021.

You have already applied to IRCC. If so. no need to worry. Just send an email or call SINP and make sure that your nomination is valid.
Thank you @legalfalcon always appreciate the info.
Because it's already in IRCC hands, I shouldn't have requested for extension/revision with SINP even if 1) provincial nomination expired and 2) got a new passport. I shouldn't have but I did so to confirm my next steps, I email SINP stating what exactly? Something along the lines of "I already got EE invitation from IRCC and it is currently in progress. Please disregard my request for extension and please keep my nomination valid while IRCC is processing my application"?

I recieved that email but no remed request. lots of people are getting PPRs though, mostly those from Q12020 AOR and Q42019AOR, those who get remed requestes earlier. If they keep up the same pace and consistency we might be next.
