Hello everyone,

I hope you all had a great end of year! I'm just coming to ask (again) if there is anyone who doesn't have any updates yet.
My AOR is Oct 7th CEC inland and I have not even received my Bimetrics letter or Medical yet. New year and old same situation =(

I just finished my call with IRCC

My AoR - Oct 12th
MES - Nov 17th
Eligibility - Not started
Security - Not started
Criminality - In Progress (I was requested RCMP and sent one month back and no update on myCIC website)

I was informed my file has been transferred to Toronto VO in Etobicoke, not sure what is the reason of transfer. The agent did not mention anything concerning. Mine is just an CEC + PNP application from Ontario. Any leads or anyone else case is transferred similarly to local VO?

I think most CEC applications are processed at Ottawa and right now, they are badly affected by covid.

I suggest you could do the followings:
- check if your UCI updated or not ( it should be them same as the current you have on your SP/ WP). If yes, it means they have opened your file and looked at it
- check if you bio update in your file : your bio is updated from last time you did for SP
- called the clinic that you did the upfront Medical check up and check if they sent the result to IRCC
Or you can sent a web form to ask for your status mentioning that you haven’t seen Medical Passed

@legalfalcon I have applied under CEC. I do have 2 years of experience in India.
I received an ITA on 20 August 2020 but my 1 year should be completed in September 2020. So in short, I got ITA 19 days before my 1-year completion.

But my AOR is on 6th October 2020.
I am very worried if there is any problem with eligibility.
What should I do now? I need expert advice.

Current status: Medical passed, Biometrics done.

Hello
Thanks 4 the information so far, got few questions. Appreciate any help

1. Received ADR for background information IMM5669, I filled and submitted. Noticed that some dates on my online application had a few gaps 1 or 2 months not accounted for, so I adjusted accordingly in ADR (now online application and ADR) have small differences in travel history portion (does not change my requirements for PCC in any of the country I have visited), do you think this will cause my application to be rejected?

2. My timeline is
Program: EE
ITA: Sep 16th
AOR: Oct 25th
ADR: Dec 2nd
Dec 3rd...we are reviewing the additional documents you provided (same status now)
MEP: Dec 4th
BIL: Dec 4th
Biometrics completed: Dec 8th
Background check: we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information

Is this good timeline and what stage do you think I may be in now?
Thanks in adv

My timeline is very similar to yours and the ADR was same received on 2nd Dec and Then 3rd Dec I got the same status.

But today, my background check status changed from:
we are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information
to
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

What could that mean?

Try to give IRCC agent a phone call. That could mean eligibility is passed.

My EE UCI never changed since the first day and it is same as my PGWP.
I never gave them my biometrics before, so I have to wait until I received BIL first.
Also I asked IRCC agent from last call and he said he can see my medical result are sent to them but he said it have to reviewed then send pass status to me.(I don't know if he actually see my medical result but I trust him)

So could you ask you immigration consultant that Should i withdraw my application and wait for next draw?
Hey buddy,

I understand the anxiety you r going thru. That’s normal but try not to get too worked up over this okay? That’s just not healthy anymore. Majority of us would have some concerns and flaws post eAPR, that doesn’t necessarily mean that our application was incorrect at the first place, simply because post AoR we just couldn’t stop thinking what we might have put wrong, what could be the reasons for a possible rejections. The faults might not even be there, but we are eagerly creating those trivial problèmes to tortue ourselves u see, I myself couldn’t stop thinking that I chose the wrong NOC, n I wrote up a whole LoE to explain the situation. I keep thinking about this situation and it’s clearly affecting my quality of living. 6 months is a long waiting time and ircc’s working speed isn’t helping it any faster. If I continue like this, I could end up with an LoE every month! Lol ....

So, Don’t worry too much buddy, ur application is fine. Besides, there is no need to worry! If the outcome is deemed to be bad, by worrying, you suffer twice! Save today for some pleasure shall we ? :)

In another group, lots of applicants got there background status updated like yours. I can't say what it means but definitely your application is being worked on.

Thanks for your kind reply. Yes, you are saying right.
Today, my day was full of stress due to this query which affects my health too.
I should wait for the official response. If it would be good, then thanks to god. If not, then there would be another way.

Thanks :)
