Hello Everyone!
Good luck to us all with our PR applications.

Please, I want to ask a question. I have 3 years 7 months experience in two different NOC. I used one as my primary NOC (6235) and the other to claim work experience points( 0122). However, a friend just informed me that the duties listed under 0122 does not match the duties on my work reference letter. Will my application be rejected for NOC mismatch?

It depends on how mismatched it is and If the duration of the work experience Is significant, I guess

@legalfalcon. Can anything be done to change my NOC?
AOR was 16th of October.
Thank you.

The NOC is one of the most important aspects of your application. You have to show that you have 1 year of full time or equivalent in part time in your primary NOC.

If you have submitted your application and you want to change it, you have to have a very solid reason for it and it will depend on the discretion of the vis officer.

Some useful IRCC resources are available here:

1. To communicate with IRCC after you have submitted your application or so send more documents: Use the webform also called Case Specific Enquiry (CSE)

Unfortunately, I missed uploading the job descriptions letter with my application. I ended up using the IRCC Webform to submit the file. I was confused about the Client ID - I only have a CAN*** UCI ID and used the last 8 digits of that in the webform. I provided more details in the body including name/application details/etc. and uploaded the file with an LoE. I saw later that the CAN*** ID is not the correct UCI ID.

a. Will I face any issues for missing the document in the original application and uploading it later?
b. Is it a problem that I used the wrong Client ID in the Webform and should I upload the files again and use 00000000 for the UCI ID field?

Thanks!

a. As long as your have sent it, it will be fine.

b. No. IRCC uses UCI, application number, and date of birth to locate your application. Instead, you can call IRCC and inquire of they have received the documents and added them to the file.

ITA - Sep 30, Planning to submit the documents in October.
Hey Guys, I have a question. Is there any way I can transfer ITA from representative’s portal to my own account and do rest of the steps on my own?

Nope
but I have observed that files with AOR till 18th Sept have received update about medical and biometrics.
My AOR is 1st Oct so when I get an update it will an indication that Oct files are opened.
The trend is 1 month and 5 to 10 days from AOR.
Any updates on your case ?

Hie can anyone please help me ? I had 958.50 regular hours of work year to date and 60 hours in paid vacation as of dec 31, 2019. And from jan till now i have 871.25 hours as regular work and 112 hours as vacation. Are my hours sufficient to count one year of total experience. And is paid vacation counted in total hours for CEC class. Really confused and need help

Hey Guys, three quick questions:

1) i hope its not necessary to get employer reference letter signed from immediate managers in my past companies? they all have moved on and most companies get this issued through HR?
2) can a reference letter be dated many years? my first experience letter is dated from 2011 and all it is missing is the fact that i was a full time employee and my salary - rest all is ok..do i still need to reach out to age old employer to get those trivia details added (and it was signed by HR too)
3) i have worked at the same company for 4 yrs (my current job) and got promoted two times and i have listed this as three different experiences in my application. Required checklist asks me reference letter for each role..would i need to prepare 3 different reference letters? I am sure my HR department would want to give only one letter.

Appreciate the help!

account is only one. youcan either totally take off the representative or I'd personally suggest take mutual control of your app and keep representative. You have a long way to go from here. A representative could come to help at some point. But as said, get the log id/pass/security qstns from your rep and take control of your app.

Hey, thanks for your input. I actually wanted to do the same. I asked them already about sharing the account userid and password but they said they use their own portal and details cannot be shared. It’s just they are doing it extremely slow as all my documents are ready for many days and I want to be able to validate all the details myself before submission as I am a little paranoid. There’s no other way to remove representative? Or be able to view it in 2 different accounts? One being mine and one theirs?
