Hello again!

I downloaded Numero and finally made my first call to IRCC. Although I went through the voice box down to the "status check" option, the robot did nothing useful but just said all the lines from my profile. I didn't get any certain information about my status I want to know. I tried then to turn to an agent, but the robot said that the line was busy and then stopped the dial.

Do I understand it right: if I want to know more in-depth info, I have to speak with an agent? Or an agent has no access to in-depths of my case?
Was it a mistake to call them now (~12:30pm, Toronto time zone)? I've read somewhere that a call should be done in the period between 3 and 4 pm.

Whenever the automated system is done with your status, you can press 0 to talk to an agent. Often it will tell you the line is too busy, try again later. Keep trying until you get through. The agents are not working at night (or did you mean PM?), just call any time between business hours. (there is no secret recipe, call any time of day.)

Yeah, I meant PM :) In Russia, we use the 24-hour clock, so messing am/pm is a common mistake.

Any word on restrictions being extended to May yet?
Travel restrictions? Nothing yet but there is basically a zero percent chance things open up before June. I am optimistic for the summer though!

— Current VO: Ottawa
— MEDICALS: passed
— ELIGIBILITY: passed
— CRIMINALITY: in progress
— SECURITY: not started

Definitely, good news.
