If your final says approved, then your security is passed. Security when it is in progress or passed is always redacted in GCMS notes.

I’m CEC Inland, AOR: 1-Oct-2020 | Med: 13-Nov | Bio: 19-Nov | 1st GU: 3-Mar, Eligibility: Recommended Passed, Criminality: Passed, Security: at last stage, Background: In Progress

Today morning received email saying update in my application, on portal it has Request letter and in which it is mentioned as below:

<UCI No> - < MY full name>
Client Information: Please provide explanation for province intend to reside

I have verified while submitting EE profile, Ontario province only was mentioned to answer "In which province or territory does <my name> intend to reside" as my current work location in the same providence.

Query:

#1: Can someone help with what should be my response for this question, any reference of LoE or any forum link
#2: Letter says “Please upload these documents to your MyCIC account." But I don’t see any link to add documents, where I can find this?

Final: Approved

Since security is blank, are they waiting for it to happen or I should assume that the decision is approved , haven’t received COpR yet

No, that s not the reason in my opinion. Why? Because I gave my biometrics last year along with work permit, 1 year before my EE application. As per phone call to ircc on 17th March, my eligibility just started and security didn't start.

#1 : Just prepare a formal letter explaining why you choose the province : work related/ family relations/ school to answer
# 2: On the main page of the application : there is a link named : Submitted documents or upload document. Click on the link, it will give you the place to upload your letter.

Hi , so my background status changed around 15 dec to IP1 and around 25th dec changed back to IP2 , it’s still in progress at this stage

Hi yes my GCMS notes says file is approved, I got one ghost update in January but my GCMS notes says that file
Was approved on 25/12/2020
