My file is also in Vancouver VO. Waiting for final decision. Everything passed by January 28, 2021.
Hopefully they start rolling out COPRs soon.
So what do you think how long it is going to take for the final decision.

Hello!
I called IRCC this morning.
AOR Oct 2,2020
Eligibility recommended pass
Criminality in progress
Security not started

We sent our transcripts via webform last month but she couldn’t see them and suggested we submit again.
We asked if any other doc was missing, any outstanding requirement and she said there was none.

What are the chances of going back to “review required” on eligibility if we are at recommended pass? We did the application on our own so we were very afraid we did something wrong!

I think you re good otherwise it shouldnt be recommended passed. Also, I sent a webform and for 5/6 weeks they didnt updated it and agent could not see it was received or even sent.

It should be okay, just need to wait :)

How do you manage to talk to an agent? I am in Canada and every time I called, an automatic response is just giving me the same answers that are provided on the web. It is almost impossible to talk with a real agent. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys,

One quick question, as per CIC web site processing time for new PR card arrival is approx. around 129 days. Does it mean these are additional days after the COPR has arrived or approved? Or This is included as a part of entire process during criminality check, security check and COPR ? Which is approximately 6 months for many of us. For example, if AOR date is 7th Oct, then expected progress bar completion date is around April end. Does it also include, PR card arrival in hand or do we have to wait beyond April for additional approx. 129 days to get actual PR card?

CIC processing time:

It depends on your luck, someone got pr card within 1 week and someone got his card over months.

Hi @legalfalcon,

If we are currently working in Canada on work permit, and PR is under process. However, if the work permit is about to expire, then do we need to inform IRCC / CIC that we are renewing work permit and send updated copy of new work permit or is it not required?

I usually continue to hang in and after all the options are exhausted, they usually connect me directly or will call me back on the callback number I leave.

You can leave your job anytime and it has nothing to do with the processing of your application. If you claimed points for your current job you should inform IRCC that you no longer work with the employer. No documents are required.

Also, when you change your country of residence, you should send a webform and inform IRCC of the change and your new address so that your LVO can be accordingly changed.
@legalfalcon
I am also in the same situation, but I got my BOWP recently. I have mentioned the job offer and claimed points during the invitation, however I am a pnp candidate, so reducing 50 points will not effect my invitation. I am working in deduced hours due to covid, so, planning to change the job.

My question is, can I switch the employer and inform IRCC in Webform that I quit my current job?
What is the impact this will cause in my pnp nomination?

My AoR is 6th Oct, thanks in advance.

Hi! So great to see a fellow Russian here! :)

I find GCMS notes to be most helpful as they are super detailed. I ordered mine on Feb 3, 2021 and received them on March 4 so they were pretty much on time. However, that was not the case for a lot of people on this forum and the difference between your and mine situations is that I am in Canada.

Option b - contacting IRCC via webform - was a total waste of time and effort for me personally. They replied, I believe, in about 3-4 weeks with totally useless generic email "don't worry, we're working on applications as hard as we can with the reduced capacity..blah..blah..blah".

I also heard and read that you shouldn't contact IRCC before 180 days deadline, but again lots of people on this forum even contacted them waaaay before the 180 day mark, and not even once. They don't reject your call/inquiry based on the application date.

I'm not sure if my reply was in any way helpful but I really hope it was:)
Hi, How did you order GCMS notes, please advise or share the link ?

FSW Inland here as well. There's no reason to call mate - there's no reason to expect any progress in the next few months on our applications. Hang tight, let IRCC do their thing.

See the note here - they explicitly tell people not to call: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/check-status.html

Good luck! I will consider myself lucky if I get CoPR within 12 months after AOR
