I ordered gcsm with csba still waiting. I be never been asked to choose cd or electronic notes. Hopefully they won t send a old cd....

If you select "electronic notes" in the application, they can send via email or CD (CD is electronic notes too.) They likely will send by email. If you by any chance have contact info of the person processing your request, you can send them an email and ask them to send you the notes only via email.

As per Immigration tracker 51 people get PPR February 1, 2021. Only two candidates has eAOR of October 2020 (One PNP and One is CEC). Mostly people belong to June, July and August 2020 eAOR's. Interesting this is that none from November 2020 eAOR candidate get a PPR but a single December 2020 candidate get a PPR.

@legalfalcon , i know this thread is for PR with AOR october. I am from October AOR but i have an urgent question for bowp application for which i need your guidance. I applied for my BOWP on 22Jan for myself amd my wife. Within few days my wife’s application got updated with her uci number and biometric detail. For my application the UCI was not updated. Few days back i spoke to an ircc agent and came to know that for my application they by mistake assigned a new uci instead of using the old one and suggested me to submit a webform for the same. I raised the webform couple of days back, but today my bowp application is showing approved with the new uci number. Will this be a problem to have the wp with new uci number? Or is there anything that i can do to fix it at this pount?

This will not be a problem at all. Usually for most the UCI number remains the same, but in some case, IRCC can allocate a different UCI number and the previous one will be purged

Which website until recently it didn't matter (and shouldn't matter either) and that was the understanding too but in recently disclosed documents from IRCC it has/had been taking extensions based on some form of tiers (revealed in response to an ATIP request) and explains why some/one third party has disproportionately been receiving 90 day extensions.

I guess I ordered from the wrong website

All I can do now is wait since I haven't received any extension email from the website I ordered from. I ordered at the same time as @armaanwadhwa (which was the 15th of January) but mine haven't been sent to me. We both ordered from different websites. I guess websites do matter.

A formal complaint was also filed, and later settled as IRCC agreed to send bi weekly reports on all pending requests to some/one third party requests as a part of the deal.

If I understand this correctly, does this mean that popular GCMS notes website receive an update every two weeks of all the tracking numbers filed by them?

Was this the case back in just late 2019 or does this still happen?

I can neither confirm nor deny. Any settlement or agreement that is reached, is confidential and the exact terms and conditions, time frames etc. cannot be disclosed.

Eventually, all requests, whether you file them yourself, through a relative, a friend, a website, a company etc. are all treated the same and processed in accordance with the Access to Information Act. Some requests will be released before others, and some will get extensions, some will just keep pending for over 30 days. How you want to obtain your information is ultimately your choice.

There have been proposals that any ATIP request to obtain someone else's information, should be either made open to anyone who is dealing with the agency, which will include all applicants who have filed an application with IRCC so that they can obtain their own information, or be limited to licensed professionals, such as lawyers, consultants, para legals, or Quebec notaries. Unless this is notified as an amendment or though an order in council, the existing law will prevail.

Another proposal is to show page 2 as it appears in the GCMS notes on the MyCIC portal with dates when each stage was passed, thereby doing away with most requests for GCMS.

The biggest reason for delays is 75 IRCC employees dealing with over a 100,000 requests, amid lockdowns, closures.

49% of all requests filed with IRCC were delayed and 6% took longer than 120 days to be released.

Did you call IRCC to inquire about the status of your application? This note refers to that. Also, if you sent an updated work reference letter, that was taken on record and has been set for review.
